Proper pruning can improve a tree’s structure, health, and longevity. Lizzie Sords will teach participants how to evaluate a tree’s structure, make proper pruning cuts, and select and use pruning tools. The workshop will also explore tree biology and physiology so participants can better understand how pruning affects a tree and how to minimize damage.
Registration through Heights Libraries will become available two weeks prior to the event date; they can be found online at https://events.heightslibrary.org/calendar/. We hope you’ll join us, learn something new about trees, and become part of the growing culture of tree stewardship in our community!
